Our Story

Our purpose is to inspire a sustainable lifestyle through locally sourced artisan foods and goods that foster well-being and community. A homestead is more than a house; it's a place where roots grow, memories form, and the essence of home thrives.

We believe…

Having the right information about food is extremely important for our well-being and lifelong success. It’s transformative for our communities to raise the awareness around food education.

We should buy directly from the people that grow and harvest the food we consume.  When we know the source of our food, we become more conscious about our consumption and daily habits. It develops a sense of trust and enriches the relationships with our farmers.

Life has to be a balance of work and fun. The things that we imagine are a part of us and they need to be brought to fruit so we can be creative and build beautiful things for the greater good of our community. These habits will create a better future for us and the next generation.

A lot of these habits are built in the kitchen which is a space that brings us together. Cooking together builds memories that last a lifetime. One of the greatest memories is sitting down with family, sharing our day’s stories, laughing, and having a good time with our loved ones. This is a tradition we want to preserve, it’s at the core of family life.

Our Homestead Philosophy

Asset 3_4x-8_edited.png
  • What grows on your homestead?
We have an assortment of herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees. At the moment we don't sell produce, only our artisan breads and beverages. We are prepping to open the homestead to the public and developing a “food forest” where members of our community can pick their own fresh foods!
  • What flour do you use?
We use USDA Organic Certified Stone Ground Wheat Flour from Virginia. The flour is freshly milled and contains all nutrients and minerals.
  • Are ingredients homegrown?
We use our home grown herbs like rosemary and oregano in our artisan baked goods. We outsource whatever we do not grow from vetted small family owned farms.
  • Is your homestead certified organic?
We do not hold a certification. However, we practice 100% organic farming and do not use chemicals on our property.
  • Do you offer pick-ups or delivery?
We will be offering pick-ups as of January 1, 2024. We offer free local delivery 10 miles from our homestead.
  • Do you offer products wholesale?
Yes you can contact us for a list of wholesale prices at admin@meadhillmarket.com.
  • Do you offer international shipping?
We do not currently offer international shipping.

Shore Girl Gone Farmer

Shore girl gone farmer

I grew up in New Jersey, dreaming of a healthier lifestyle influenced by my Colombian roots and experiences in Florida. After a personal health diagnosis, I moved to Meadhill Dr (hence in the name) in Loxahatchee, FL, to build a homestead and embrace a slower pace of life focused on growing my own food and homeschooling my kids.

Becoming a Certified Nutrition Coach deepened my understanding of health, leading me to start Meadhill Market. There, I share my passion for homesteading with the community through an artisan baked goods and plans for a food forest. This journey has transformed my life, fostering a strong sense of community and connection to the land.
